About the Internship
Join Fareeqy as a Ruby on Rails intern and get hands-on experience building real features for our platform. You’ll work with Rails, Hotwire, and Tailwind CSS, but don’t worry if you’re new—our team is here to help. We keep things simple and flexible: choose your hours, ask questions anytime, and focus on learning at your own pace.
What You’ll Do
- Build small, real-world features in Rails with guidance from senior engineers.
- Use Hotwire (Turbo & Stimulus) to make your interfaces feel fast and dynamic.
- Style pages with Tailwind CSS—clean code, clear results.
- Collaborate over GitHub: push your changes, raise PR, review feedback, and improve step by step
- Learn by doing: tackle one task at a time, and ask for help whenever you need it.
- Internship duration from 2 to 3 months
Internship Requirements
- Recent graduate or entry-level coder with basic Ruby and Rails knowledge who has built at least one project.
- Familiar with HTML/CSS; a quick start with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
- Curious and proactive: you ask questions, try solutions, and share what you learn.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule.
- Good communication in English (and Arabic, if you can).
- Flexible availability—whether part-time or full-time, day or evening, we’ll work around you.
